Gathering at Yuen Restaurant

Dear All,

The second gathering was successfully held at Yuen Restaurant with total of 13 friends attended.

It was nice and hot [very hot weather to have steamboat]. It was ended with a mamak session though.

For those who couldn't make it, well, don't worry. In the next blog entry, I would be happy to inform you of what other activities we are having.. haha.. Just a hint - Song bird, get your vocal ready!

Frustration

Well, Just to share with you whoever that is reading this particular blog that was created solely for our so called gathering.

I thought, we have all grown up.

You know, ALL of us are 25 this year. Yet I'm still receiving questions that I thought I would only receive during earlier high school days, like - Who Will Be Going?

You might be curious of who will be going. It's normal. But, for once, could you just attend without asking and let it be a surprise to you of who will be there. You never know!

Some how I guess I would like to share with you how often I got this particular question and how it become a frustration to me at least.

I sent out a messages regardless through friendster, facebook or SMS, the first reply is "Who will be going?"

IS THIS SO IMPORTANT?!

Can you imagine how many times I have to reply to each individual? Well, at least these 2 gatherings are still consider small. Imagine this:

In the future, where Janet and I could organize a bigger gathering involved bout 50 over people. Do you expect us to inform you through messages of who will be going?

It's fairly simple - you go, you know.

I would be very glad and happy that you could make it for any future activities. If you couldn't make it, you could always view this blog, facebook or friendster's group to see who attended the gathering.

Don't keep asking me who will be going only then you could make up your mind.

You go, you know. You don't feel like attending, don't bother to ask.

Price Range: RM18.80 per person
**Note: Does not include drinks**

Therefore, please pay me RM20.00 which would include Chinese Tea. Should you order something else, pay upon drink served.

Second Gathering - 16.08.08

Dear All,

We will be having another gathering or whatever you would like to call (dinner reunion, etc) on next month, August.

DATE: 16/08/08
TIME: 07:30PM
Venue: TBC (most likely it would be a steamboat dinner)

The reason of having steamboat dinner because, it would be easier for payments. We are looking at those per head and eat all you can. =)

We have few venue options, I need a little bit more time to actually confirm the venue.

First Gathering

Well, we managed to finally pull off our first gathering after all these years.. Some recall, after Form 2.

It seems that, I was always the organizer. I guess, it pretty fits me well that I'm a event coordinator now. Ha!

It was great that we managed to catch up not forgetting to joke around bout our good old days ~

Days that we missed were all flashed back. It seems like not too long ago but it's quite some time (still doesn't want to admit that I'm getting old over here, or should I say, matured?)

Anyway, here are those that came on 12/07/08. For those who can't make it on that day, I sincerely hope that you would join us on the coming reunion which will be on 16/08/08.

We are trying to make it a monthly thing for now, as we do understand that all of us are working now, some actually stay/study/work in overseas such as Australia and USA.
